Fitting time: Approximately 100 minutes Special Tools:

| 1 | Remove:
|
| 2 | Tape the template in position on the upper rear corner of the left hand guard. Using a felt pen, mark the hole positions. Remove the template. Using a 95mm holesaw, cut the main hole. The drill should be held horizontal (parallel to the ground) while cutting this hole. Drill the mounting holes to 11/16" using a stepdrill. |
| 3 | To locate the inner drill hole use a tape measure. Measure 75mm down from the underside of the inner guard lip. Measure back from the headlight support panel 85mm. Where the lines intersect, is where you should drill the hole. Re-check the dimensions 3 or 4 times before proceeding. When the hole position is marked, drill the hole out to 89mm. |
| 4 | Bolt the upper mounting bracket to the snorkel body. Insert the stainless steel studs into the holes directly behind the snorkel snout. Locate the snorkel on the vehicle and mark the upper mounting hole positions on the "A" pillar. Remove the snorkel. Drill the upper holes to 8mm. |
| 5 | Paint all holes to prevent rust. |
| 6 | Place rubber edging around the inner hole. Lubricate inside the connecting ducts and sit the duct and sit the ducts in position. Join the two ducts together with the steel joiner and secure with 60/80 clamps. Trim the flared end off the air cleaner snout, and refit the air cleaner to the vehicle. Secure the connecting duct to the air cleaner snout with a 60/80 clamp. |
| 7 | Insert plastic body clips into the upper mounting holes. Slide a clamp onto the end of the connecting duct. (The clamp will have to be bent into shape). Position the snorkel on the vehicle while sliding the snorkel snout into the connecting duct. Secure the snorkel in place, using the appropriate hardware. Tighten the clamp holding the duct onto the snorkel snout. |
| 8 | Refit the wheelarch liner. Fasten the self tapping screw between the overflow bottle and the power steering reservoir. Fit the air ram to the top of the snorkel and tighten the clamp. |
