Tape the template to the upper rear corner of the left guard. Using a felt tip pen mark all hole positions, remove template. |
| 3 |
Drill a pilot hole for each hole position. Using the step drill, drill the very front mounting hole position to 10mm. Drill the remaining 5 mounting hole positions to 16mm using the 83mm holesaw. Drill the 2 main holes and mark a straight line top and bottom of the holes. Using the air hacksaw, cut away the remaining panel between the 2 holes. De-burr and paint all holes. |
| 4 |
Mark the inner guard hole position by measuring back from the radiator support panel 115mm. Then measure down from under the guard mounting flange 137mm (refer to inset drawing) and mark. Re-check dimensions and drill a 4mm pilot hole. Using the 83mm holesaw, drill the inner guard hole. De-burr and paint hole. |
| 5 |
Screw the 5 mounting studs into the snorkel body inserts. Carefully position the snorkel body onto the guard. Fit the upper mounting bracket between the windscreen and door sealing rubber. Bolt the mounting bracket to snorkel body using necessary hardware. With the snorkel body correctly positioned on the guard, mark the 4 mounting bracket hole positions on the 'A' pillar. Remove the snorkel body and upper mounting bracket. |
| 6 |
Drill the 4 marked hole positions on the 'A' pillar to 8mm. De-burr and paint holes. |
| 7 |
Insert plastic body clips into the 'A' pillar and fasten the upper mounting bracket to the 'A' pillar using necessary hardware. |
| 8 |
Position the snorkel body onto the guard, with the snorkel body correctly positioned, fasten to the guard using necessary hardware. Fasten the snorkel body to the upper mounting bracket. |
| 9 |
Install air entry duct and rubber connecting hose onto the snorkel body snout. Install the air cleaner housing to the vehicle. Correctly position the air entry duct and fasten hose clamps then drill a 5.0mm hole through the air cleaner entry snout and air entry duct. Remove air cleaner assembly. |
| 10 |
