Fitting time: Approximately 120 minutes Comments: Does not suit vehicle with windscreen washer bottle fitted in left hand inner wheel arch.Special Tools:

| 1 | Remove:
|
| 2 | Cut and remove air cleaner intake snout using the air hacksaw. Sit adapter in place and remove any extra material as required to make air cleaner intake hole the same size as adapter. Drill 7 holes to 4mm. Apply a liberal amount of silicone to adapter and pop rivet to air cleaner housing (see drawing). |
| 3 | Mark out inner guard hole by measuring back from radiator support panel 55mm and across 98mm (see drawing). Drill hole to 89mm using the holesaw. De-burr and paint hole. Refit air cleaner. |
| 4 | Tape template to upper rear corner of left hand guard. With a felt pen mark out all holes. Drill a 4mm pilot hole for each hole position. Drill main hole to 89mm using the holesaw. Drill the remaining mounting holes to 16mm using the step drill. Cut out new indicator hole using the air hacksaw. File to shape. Drill the 2 locating holes to 6mm. De-burr and paint all holes. |
| 5 | Bolt upper mounting bracket to snorkel and install mounting studs. Place masking tape on "A" pillar in approximate position of upper mounting bracket. Sit snorkel on guard and mark around outside of upper mounting bracket. Remove snorkel. Place upper mounting bracket on "A" pillar and carefully mark 4 holes. Drill to 8mm. De-burr and paint holes. |
| 6 | Insert plastic plugs to "A" pillar and install upper mounting bracket. Install snorkel and fasten using necessary hardware. Install flexible ducting and tighten hose clamps. |
| 7 | Refit indicator to new hole in guard and connect wiring. Refit wheel arch liner and install air ram and fasten. |
