| 1 | Remove:

| 2 | Tape the template in position on the upper rear corner of the guard (as shown in the diagram) and using a felt pen, mark the hole positions. Remove the template. For the inner hole measure 410mm back from the radiator support panel then measure 120mm down from the guard mounting lip. Mark where the two lines meet. Re check these measurements 2 or 3 times, until certain the hole centre is accurately marked. |
| 3 | Drill a 4mm pilot hole for each of the holes. Open the 6 mounting holes to 16mm using a step drill. Cut the main outer hole and the inner hole using an 86mm hole saw. The hole saw should be horizontal while drilling these holes. After drilling and cutting, deburr the holes to leave a smooth edge. |
| 4 | Screw the 6 stainless steel mounting studs into the back of the snorkel. Fasten the upper mounting bracket to the snorkel using the three 6mm bolts and washers provided. Sit the snorkel in position on the vehicle and mark the 3 upper mounting hole positions. Remove the snorkel from the vehicle and drill the mounting holes to 8mm. |
| 5 | Paint both the upper and lower mounting holes with appropriate paint to prevent rust. Insert the plastic body clips in the upper mounting holes. Place a ring of rubber edging around the inner hole. |
| 6 | Place the snorkel in position on the vehicle and secure with appropriate hardware. Slide the flexible ducting onto the snorkel snout. Slide the silicone sleeve over the air cleaner snout. Refit the air cleaner to the vehicle. Slide the flexible ducting onto the air cleaner snout. Secure at both ends using 50/70 hose clamps provided. |
| 7 | Place the air ram on top of the snorkel and secure with the clamp provided. |
| 8 | Refit the guard liner to the wheel arch. |

A small bead of silicone may be placed around the top and front edges of the snorkel body to seal it against the vehicle. |
