| 1 | Remove:
|
| 2 | Tape the template in position on the upper rear corner of the guard. Use a felt pen to mark the hole positions, then remove the template. Drill the main hole to 86mm using a holesaw. The drill should be horizontal (parallel to the ground) while drilling this hole. Drill the 4 mounting holes to 16mm using a stepdrill. Deburr all the holes to leave a smooth edge. |
| 3 | Screw the 4 stainless steel mounting studs into the back of the snorkel body. Bolt the upper mounting bracket into position on the snorkel body. Position the snorkel on the vehicle and mark the upper mounting holes on the "A" pillar. Remove the snorkel and drill the upper holes to 8mm. |
| 4 | Paint all holes to prevent rust. |
| 5 | Insert the plastic body clips into the upper mounting holes. Remove the bracket from the snorkel body and fasten it to the "A" pillar. Position the snorkel on the vehicle and secure using the appropriate hardware. |
| 6 | Remove the air cleaner assembly from the vehicle. Use silicone to permanently seal the cold start diaphragm and any joins that may not be waterproof. Refit the air cleaner to the vehicle. |
| 7 | Use the factory duct to join the air cleaner to the snorkel snout. Ensure this duct is in good condition prior to installation. Refit the wheelarch liner to the vehicle. Place the air ran on top of the snorkel and tighten the clamp. |
