| 1 | Remove:
|
| 2 | Tape the template in position on the upper rear corner of the guard. Use a felt pen to mark the hole positions, then remove the template. Drill the main hole to 86mm using a holesaw. The drill should be held horizontal (parallel to the ground) while cutting this hole. Drill the 4 mounting holes to 16mm using a stepdrill. Deburr all the holes to leave a smooth edge. |
| 3 | Screw the 4 stainless steel mounting studs into the back of the snorkel body. Bolt the upper mounting bracket into position on the snorkel body. Position the snorkel on the vehicle and mark the upper holes on the "A" pillar. Remove the snorkel and drill the holes to 8mm. |
| 4 | Paint all holes to prevent rust. |
| 5 | Remove the plastic air cleaner ducting. Insert the plastic body clips into the upper mounting holes. Remove the upper mounting bracket from the snorkel, and fasten it to the "A" pillar. Position the snorkel on the vehicle and secure using appropriate hardware. |
| 6 | Refit the plastic air cleaner connecting duct to the vehicle using the existing joiner hoses. Be sure to silicone seal each end of these hoses to ensure a waterproof seal. |
| 7 | Place the air ram on top of the snorkel and tighten the clamp. |
