Fitting time: Approximately 120 minutes Special Tools:

| 1 | Remove:
|
| 2 | Remove air cleaner assembly and air entry duct. Remove 90 degree adaptor from air entry duct (Drill out rivets). Insert steel joiner (Item 13) into plastic air entry duct and mark pop rivet holes on steel joiner. Remove steel joiner and drill holes to 5mm. Apply silicone to joiner and insert into plastic duct. Install pop rivets. Refit air entry duct with spacer and bolt supplied. Super glue air inlet sleeve (item 19)to plastic duct on engine as per drawing. Refit air cleaner assembly. PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL ITEM 19 IF VEHICLE IS TURBOCHARGED! |
| 3 | Tape template to upper rear corner of left hand guard. With a felt pen,mark all holes. Drill a 4mm pilot hole for each hole position. Drill main hole to 92mm using the holesaw. Drill the remaining 6 holes to 16mm using the step drill. Using the air hacksaw enlarge the main hole as per template. De-burr and paint all holes |
| 4 | Fasten upper mounting bracket and studs to snorkel. Position snorkel on guard and check for clearance to door when opening. If necessary position snorkel forward to achieve required clearance. Mark 3 holes on “A” pillar. Remove snorkel and drill holes to 8mm. Paint holes and insert plastic body clips to “A” pillar. |
| 5 | Install snorkel to guard and fasten using necessary hardware. |
| 6 | Install snorkel connecting hose and fasten hose clamps. Ensure there is clearance between hose and guard. |
| 7 | Refit wheel arch liner. |
| WARNING: IT IS THE INSTALLERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE ALL CONNECTIONS ARE WATER TIGHT. | |
