| 1 | Remove:
|
| 2 | Tape the template to the upper rear corner of the guard. Using a felt tip pen mark all hole positions. Remove template. |
| 3 | Drill a pilot hole for each hole position. Using the stepdrill, drill the front mounting hole position to 14 mm. Drill the remaining 5 mounting hole positions to 16mm. Using the 92mm holesaw drill the main hole position drilling the hole square to the guard (holesaw cutting on both top and bottom surfaces of the guard). Deburr and paint all holes. |
| 4 | Screw the 6 mounting studs into the snorkel body inserts and fasten the upper mounting bracket to the snorkel body using necessary hardware. |
| 5 | Carefully position the snorkel body onto the guard. Mark the position of the upper mounting bracket on the 'A' pillar. Remove the snorkel body from the vehicle. |
| 6 | Remove the bracket from the snorkel body and place the bracket onto the 'A' pillar then mark the 3 mounting hole positions. Remove the bracket and drill the 3 marked holes on the 'A' pillar to 8mm, deburr and paint holes. |
| 7 | Insert plastic body clips into the 'A' pillar and fasten the upper mounting bracket to the 'A' pillar using necessary hardware. |
| 8 | Position the snorkel body onto the guard and fasten using necessary hardware. Fasten upper mounting bracket to snorkel body. |
| 9 | Apply lubricant to both ends of the air entry hose (Item No. 13). Install the air entry hose onto the snorkel body snout and position the hose clamps at either end of the hose. Re-install air cleaner assembly to the vehicle. Ensure correct positioning of the air cleaner entry and snorkel body snout then fasten both hose clamps. |
| 10 | Re-install side indicator and indicator assembly. |
| 11 | Install air ram assembly to the snorkel body and fasten. |
